Translating memory, emotion, and bodily experience into material form.
My studio practice begins with experiences that are difficult to explain in words: a familiar taste tied to a fading memory, the physical tension of waiting for a volleyball to fall, or the emotional weight carried by the body.
Working across drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, wearable art, photography, and stop-motion animation, I explore how materials can give these experiences a visible form. Rather than treating each medium as a separate discipline, I select materials according to what a subject requires—clay for weight, thread for tension, charcoal for movement, and stop-motion for the instability of memory.
