Annie Wang
Hi, my name is Annie. I have a deep passion for art, photography, film, and various creative activities. I love exploring different mediums because they allow me to express myself in unique ways. Beyond art, I am someone who truly enjoys trying new things and challenging myself. I believe stepping out of my comfort zone is the best way to grow, both as an artist and as a person. I'm always excited to learn new skills and push my boundaries, and I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with you.
Food has become a recurring lens through which I explore family memory, cultural identity, labor, class, and the ways digital media influence what we value and trust. Across my studio practice and public projects, I move between making images and studying how they communicate. Whether reconstructing my grandfather’s fading memories, documenting Beijing food culture, or creating mental-health content for teenagers, I use visual storytelling to make private experiences visible and invite others into the conversation.
